Educators can use these resources to help teach about the Holocaust. These materials are most suitable for grades 7-12.

Videotaped Testimonies
Contact us and request to borrow one of our videotaped testimonies. We can recommend one that would fit well with this lesson plan. After you receive the videotaped testimony, view it with your class. We suggest that you view the testimony first, so that you´re aware of the content beforehand. 
 
Topics for Discussion
After you view the videotaped testimony, use the following suggested questions for classroom discussion.
1. What did the videotaped testimony teach you about the Holocaust? What surprises you about it and what does not?
2. Why do you think the Nazis kept such detailed records of their killings?
3. Could a government such as the one Hitler created ever form in the United States? What are some of the differences between democracy in America and Hitler´s authoritarianism?
4. Imagine riding in a boxcar to the concentration camp. What do you think people had to do to survive through the experience of deportation and imprisonment? Think about some of the needs of the young, old, and those with medical conditions.
5. Discuss the development of Nazi policy toward the Jews from 1933 until 1945.
